If you are here,
then chances are…
I know you.
You are life.
And life is just shorthand for God.
Within you,
there is a creator,
The same creator that built the salt that feeds the oceans, the oceans that house the seas, the seas that feed the rain, the rain that waters the mountains, and the mountains that lead the water down to the people.
Life is not only shorthand for God, but God shorthand for Life,
shorthand for the stars, the heavens, Allah, The Source, Yeshua, Mother Nature…
God Has Many Faces.
God has my face.
And God has yours.
✦ What’s good fren, I’m Rae.
As a multi-ethnic, third-culture kid from Jamaica verse in 6 languages—intersection is the name of my game. I am in love with life and all that its diversity has to teach us. Diversity gives us the tools; everything we need to honour our bodies, our communities and our souls. I am at all times a traveller, a philosopher, a student and a native wherever I go, and it is this lens that I bring to you, soul sibling, in all my creations online. I interact especially with Caribbean youth-led community projects, third-spaces, cross-cultural sustainability and social justice movements. Through my studies, writing, projects and speaking endeavours, I hope to encourage sustainable, pleasurable activism toward a better, more diverse and compassionate world that learns and leans on its rich history and knowledge.

✦ This Pub &
The Road to Presence 🛣️
This blog is my special space for philosophy musings, personal essays, interviews and poetry that promote mindfulness, creativity and sustainable action.
🧚🏼♂️ Join me in:
→ being inspired by our global community and local environment.
→ getting more intimate with who we are and what our genius is.
→ connecting our journey with a greater story of liberation and heritage.
→ coming into a new, decolonised paradigm: one that is raw, sexy, ugly and messy.
→ dissolving limitations and separation in favour of big intersectional pictures.
→ grounding ourselves in the present, letting go to reveal sustainable action.
This, all in great faith, that presence brings ease.
‘A personal exploration of the human condition and ways of knowing’—
with the aim of helping mindful humans cultivate their unique genius & be inspired by the world and its many mirrors. To empower said humans to sustainable action that honours us, our community and environment.
✦ Who we are.
All of nature is a reflection of itself. By learning to love the creator (you), we learn to love its creations (you). The work we must do is collective, because it was never separate in the first place. I&I.
If you resonate, this space is for you 🤍
✦ Notes on Niche
I am interdisciplinary writer. I reject narrow niches and rigid disciplines because I oppose capitalist and mechanistic thinking. I am a firm believer that there is cohesion in chaos because life itself is cohesion in chaos. The greatest lessons and the greatest meaning come from when we view ourselves IN the picture AND as part of the picture. You are individual, and your are collective. You are you yet, you are never you without us.
→As you rest, you will feel inspired to create. As you create, you'll discover that creation is a form of learning. As you learn, you'll realize that learning is a form of fighting. And as you fight, you'll understand that fighting is also a form of resting.
No matter who you are, you are always a creator, a warrior, a receiver, a parent, a child—a dreamer and the dream.
✦ Mind, Body, Soul, Community Content
Although I don’t adhere to a niche, I have 5 categories for my pieces that I try to link everything to.
The Mind — tools and thoughts to learn more, and see more outside of the box
The Body — wellness, pleasure. The vessel is the foundation on which all else is built.
Soul — shadow work, food for thought that unleashes or invokes the soul
Community — thoughts on home, connectivity and ‘soul work’, social justice
Field Notes — reflections and personal essays from my life
